Why is regularly drinking water important for weight loss?

There are many reasons why it is important to drink water regularly, especially if you are on a diet:

  • Water regulates our body temperature, which means that sufficient amount of water can make us feel more energetic during exercise. Water also feed our muscles.
  • It improves metabolism, which helps digestion. Fiber and water goes hand-in-hand to allow a daily bowel movement.
  • It helps in weight loss because it wash away by-products of the decomposition of fat. Drinking water reduces hunger, or acts as a very effective appetite suppressant. Water also has no calories.
