Pineapple diet

With warm days there is usually a desire to »put in order« our body, which has produced a few extra pounds over the winter.

First, we must ensure a regular physical exercise and nature, which is beginning to wake up, will support us, because it offer more options for movement, as in winter. However it will not work out without a healthy diet and for start you have to select a good diet plan. This time we present pineapple diet.

Pineapple is rich in vitamins and minerals, but the most valued component is enzyme bromelain that prevents blood clotting, lower blood pressure and improves the blood circulation. It also helps with stomach problems and constipation and helps in detoxification of our body.

Basic Pineapple diet

A diet with fresh pineapple lasts five days in which it is possible to lose three pounds. You can repeat cycles of five days several times, but after 30 days of pineapple diet make a break. The menu is divided into even and odd days. It is important that you start all days with a glass of lukewarm water and drink throughout the day a few cups of herbal tea. Eat fresh pineapple at the beginning of the meal and for remaining food wait for 20 minutes.

5 day pineapple diet plan

Example menu for odd days (first, third and fifth day):

Breakfast: a slice of fresh pineapple, a cup of herbal tea without sugar, low fat yogurt (2 dl) with oat flakes

Lunch: slice of fresh pineapple, a cup of vegetable soup with ground flakes (spelled, barley, wheat, oat, rye)

Afternoon snack: a cup of herbal tea without sugar, a slice of fresh pineapple

Dinner: a slice of fresh pineapple, 200 g of fish, baked in foil, salad (tomatoes, peppers …)

Example menu for even days (second and fourth day)

Breakfast: a glass of freshly pressed fruit juice (pineapple, orange, kiwi fruit), a cup of coffee without sugar substitutes

Lunch: slice of fresh pineapple, 180 g of lean grilled chicken, steamed vegetables 2 slices of whole wheat bread

Afternoon snack: a slice of fresh pineapple, 2 dl of less fat yogurt

Dinner: a slice of fresh pineapple, vegetable soup (zucchini, broccoli, cabbage …), hard-boiled egg, cooked fresh spinach

Pineapple diet is the right choice for a quick diet for spring months, as you will in addition to lose weight also detoxify your body. It also includes all the nutrients, caloric intake is slightly lower if you strictly hold the menu (800 kcal per day), which you can customize to your needs, so that you can eat larger quantities of food or eat full-fat yogurt.
